    That’s interesting. I cannot find this info in the Housing Act but then they are not made for easy browsing. Any chance you could provide me with the exact article number, please?

      The only thing I found so far is 325 (2) (b): “a room is available as sleeping accommodation if it is of a type normally used in the locality either as a bedroom or as a living room.”

        Hi wss

        I have just updated the post so that the URL linked into the image is a separate explicit link. The linked information using section 10.

        I have to admit that I am not up on the fine detail of the act or the tax. Whilst I am abhorred by the bedroom tax having moved back in with my father when falling ill it doesn’t affect me directly.
